Day One! We are doing it! So off to Gothenburg NE. the Salvation Show headed. The plan was to get to our campsite and golf the next day. All went well until Kirk was pulling the trailer into the campsite, swung wide and was inches away from ripping the awning off the trailer with the campground swing set! To borrow the words of George Clooney in "O Brother, Where Art Thou!", we were in a real tight spot! The more he jockeyed the trailer, the worst it got! Can you believe it.... the two of us were shouting at each other..... talk about a spousal moment! Thank goodness there were no other people at the campground. Otherwise it would have been so embarassing. So the lesson learned.... that big hunkin' trailer's backend swings more than a dancer at a strip bar!
It took awhile but we finally were setup. But it was early enough that we were able to play 9 holes of golf in Cozad NE. Came back to the trailer for beer and dinner.
As you can see from the picture, it was a real crowded campground!!!!
It looks like you are having a great time--and the images-wow! Work is crazy, so I have now found a new way to escape every once in awhile. I will pretend I am with you on one of your many adventures.
