Last night it stormed all night...really stormed...thunder, lightning. lots of rain! Well.....what else is new...we were camping and it always rains when we camp. The difference is that we were warm and cozy in our nice dry bed! By 9:30 AM it was windy, cool (56 degrees), cloudy and threatening rain. Wow...what a perfect day to play golf...so what the heck.... off we went to Wild Horse Golf Course. Surprisingly the weather must have helped my game because I shot an 83 and Kirk a 91. There were a fair number of other insane people playing so misery loves company! To end the day on an exciting note we "toured" the Pony Express building in Gothenburg! (Wendy and Terry - it is a must see on our next golf trip to Gothenburg!). When we returned to the campground, we were quite surprised that there were 5 other trailers in the campground. Regardless of the weather, it was a good day! Tomorrow is a travel day so when I asked Kirk how early we needed to leave his response was, "Pretty early": when I asked how far to Denver he said, "Pretty far". So there you have it......tomorrow is a pretty early, pretty far day!
